Social Anthropology Department Overview
The Department of Social Anthropology at Bule Hora University, established in 2011, explores human societies through cross-cultural research, ethnographic fieldwork, and comparative analysis. Offering a BA in Social Anthropology since its inception, the department expanded with an MA in Ecological Anthropology (2019) and an MA in Social Anthropology (2020). Committed to academic excellence, community engagement, and solving societal challenges, the program equips students with theoretical and methodological skills for careers in research, development, and policy-making.
